Guys, like the iPhone, is there such a thing as a system wide dictionary? You know, tap and hold on a word and it'll bring up the definition? Thanks.

Not built in - you may be able to find a 3rd party application to do that, but I can't recommend one offhand.

think theres an add-on for Firefox browser that does it mate but i havent tried it. either that or just bookmak Wikipedia and copy/paste the word into that although that wouldnt be so slick

surely there must be an app like that where if you long-press and hilight any word itl give you the option to either copy to clipboard or search definition.. sounds possible anyway.. kindle can do it..

I use Swiftkey, and if you long press a word it offers you 2 selections: Find, which searches the article for the specified word or Web Search which brings up a web search of the word to include definition listings. Not the same as you described but close.
