Did anyone get the iMessage like Google Messages update?

I keep waiting for it to show up, but I still have regular old Messages. Unless I'm missing how it's supposed to work.

Ohh that. This has been driving me nuts as well bc ever since I heard about it I've been dying to receive. Especially because my wife and most of my family use iphones. Every once in a while I'll even ask my wife to react to one of my text messages intentionally to see if it has roller out to me and of course still not working. + I'm opt in for the messages beta.

I am running the beta on Messages and from time to time the emoji does appear. However, it is hit and miss. Everyone knows that Apple does not play nicely in the sandbox.

Verizon messages has been doing this for a few months and it works pretty well in display the interaction emoji.
