I don't know why Samsung doesn't change shippers to UPS.
They used ups until 2019 or so. My note 8 was shipped ups. I think the note 10 they started using fedex
I don't know why Samsung doesn't change shippers to UPS.
I have routinely received Fedex packages left in front of our overhead garage door! It's a miracle nobody has backed over something. Oh, and our front door is within eyesight of the garage doors, which have no pedestrian entry door at all.
Of course they are going to have their success stories, I have had good experiences with them also, but out of all my deliveries in my life, FedEx is the one with most the issues. My delivery person is good also, but what we are talking about here is the hubs, the internal system moving the packages. Once the package finally gets put on the truck for delivery the nightmare is about to be over soon, the delivery portion isn't usually the issue.I live in a Townhome Complex. My driveway is about 8 feet from the street. You can't see my front door from the street. You have to walk up about a thirty foot sidewalk through a 6 foot gate to even see the door.
I have had 6 packages in the last 2 weeks delivered by FedEx from Samsung. Although it would be a lot easier to leave them at the garage, they have been brought to the front door, left in the shade & the doorbell was rang.
I had two s22 Ultras delivered on time 2/22/24. Delivery person rang the doorbell, collected signatures & told my Husband & I, with a big grin, to enjoy our new phones. (He knew what was in those 2 boxes.)
I know there has been a large number of problems, loss & theft. I have compassion for all the stress & grief that people have endured. I would guess this will go down as Samsungs worst pre-order season to date. (For the record, I did have a FedEx delivery last summer that ended up at my next door neighbors.)
I just wanted to give a shout out to those FedEx employees that have pride in their work & are doing their jobs.

Yeah, I put the address in, but when I was talking to the customer service rep to confirm my order, they read it back and excluded the unit number of the house within the complex's address. I said, "I don't see the unit number in the order info", and they said, "it's okay, we got it".
Lo and behold, the day it was supposed to arrive came, and there was no package in front of the door or in the mailbox. It was marked as delivered, so I thought I'd try the one place it shouldn't be, which was in front of the clubhouse, right on the sidewalk, all alone, where literally no other packages are ever left for delivery.
Sufficed to say, I was upset, but their response was that what was done was done, and at the end of the day, I got my phone anyway, so no harm no foul. Yikes.
Well, it could've gone the other way really easily! I don't think their response should be like that at all! What if you weren't home that day or were detained five more minutes, and that's all it would have taken for your phone to get stolen?
Major corporations shouldn't be relying on luck.
