Did I press something?? No audio coming from bottom speaker.

On my phone like usual. Browsing through videos I noticed I was at max volume but could barely hear anything. So I investigate the phone and find out sound is only coming from the top speaker. Its very low tok. And no sound from bottom speaker. Did I press something? Hope it's a quick fix.

K, guys false alarm. I closed all my applications and restarted them both speakers are now working. Still very weird that it happened out of nowhere.

it's not a glitch, its a bug and it occurs randomly.
after a factory reset I reinstalled each application seperately.
problem still occurs. randomly, and only a reboot will fix it.

Hi, welcome to AC!

At that time for this member seem to be a glitch , and never had that happen when I had my Note 10 before getting the Note 20. I haven't heard anyone else come forward about this until you .

What security patch your on and carrier?

Ahh ok you have the international version , how long you had this issue? You can monitor in safe mode see if it happens this can rule out any 3rd party apps causing this . Long press the power button then long press power off on the screen it will turn into safe mode logo and tap , to exit out anytime just reboot the phone again.

it happens every time with a different app. I read that it could be the Bluetooth (headset) which I use rarely but I leave it on. so now I am testing with the Bluetooth turned off. so far so good. also read to try and have all volumes on full. time will tell.


p.s It isn't the Bluetooth

Have you tried in safe mode ? Also can check under Bluetooth its history and apps access it ?

yes I tried SM but it didn't have any problems. I think that the problem is not related with my apps but with the IO. I only use FB, YT and Netflix which can cause the problem. by chance I found this nice Samsung App called "Sound Assistant" which allows you to have different setting for each app. so far the problem has not occured again.

Can't wait for Android 11 to come out...

Sound assistant did not fix the problem.
The problem repeated every few days and only a reboot could fix it.
but...
I just got the OTA Android 11 upgrade and the problem finally disappeared!

2 days ago my bottom speaker died, like you said above. I Try everything and still does not working.. i put it on table in the same room where i shower, but thats not only time i put phone there. One speaker works, but main one doesnt.

Idk, how to fix it.. My top speaker sounds 2 time louder than before, but main one doesnt work.
