Did the G7 just become the "Best Deal" you can get?

I've only had this device for a few days, but I'm loving it more and more each day. The fact that Best Buy took $200 off and Verizon took another $100 off the total price (final price of $450) makes me feel that I truly got the best deal out there!

OK, so I just saw that Verizon has a $35 plan which would work for me. If I go into Best Buy and tell them to port my number over from Metro PCS, will I get the discounts you're talking about? I have no contract with Metro.

I think yes. Worth investigating right?

Thanks, I checked it out and unfortunately Verizon is still running deceptive ads as their plan isn't $35, it's actually $55. I know that's cheap, but it turns out to be a couple hundred dollars more expensive over two years than it is to buy unlocked at full price and keep my Metro plan. I'll probably hop on the first unlocked sale/deal I can find.

The $200 Best Buy discount is a good deal and makes it worth buying. The $100 Verizon rebate is paid as a $4.16 monthly bill credit over 24 months, so you have to stay on the payment plan to get the full amount....can't pay it off early or the rebate stops.
