Did the PIE update remove the WPS option?

Ever since the update I no longer have the option to use WPS to connect to wifi. As a home technician, that was one of the most used features. Why was it removed?

Yes. It's removed on all phones running Pie by Google. It's being deprecated already for security reasons.

The algorithms are all public now, so it's trivial to force a connect ro a WPS-enabled router.

Yeah this is one of the main reasons ive stuck with android. Its a major tool in my box and saved me hours of cst's looking for their info. We need this back or a 3rd party option.
