For me, I don't need root even with a custom rom. I talk, text, and play an occasional game. You don't need root to do those things.

No with stock pure Android experience. With other layered versions of Android, I was always on the look for custom roms and root methods.

I'm using 100% stock now. No root. I meant to say that I don't root even if I use a custom rom. No root any time. No need for it.
