I was wondering how they would do with the 'dreaded' camera bump.. I have looked up the S8+ reviews for these, but those are flat.. lol

I'm not buying a case until I know how much per month T-mobile will try to get me for. I have no issues going to an S8+ instead if the price is way over inflated. Cases take like 2 days to deliver. There's no rush.

I wonder if the Defender for the Note 8 will not have the stupid built in screen protector like the S8 one does not have it.

That is what delayed the Note 7 Defender while they were trying to design a screen protector which it sucked on the Note 7.

The s8 Defender I was able to buy at Best Buy two weeks before the phone launched.

I don't care for otterbox defender case anymore. Don't get me wrong, it is a good case and has saved me quite a few times when I drop my phone but, it just make the phone feel to bulky for me.

I only ordered to see the size. I would not trust this case for protection. I am waiting for Speck Presidio, it seems to be the only one that also has side screen edges protection for s8+. I hope they make it that is.

Yeah I ordered mine from Amazon to get the feel of the size also. And to also have something till my favs come out like UAG, spigen, incipio, among a few others.

I got 2 in from ebay today. I put my S7E inside to get a feel for the size and I like it. It's a good bit taller, so I did have to adjust my grip to reach the fps. I'll be practicing for the real thing. The width even seems OK. I checked out the s8+ already so I'm pretty sure the N8 will be just fine for me.

I preordered something on Amazon just to have something for the phone when we get it,
but will then take some time to find one I really like. I have a fake leather folio for my current and soon i hope to be former Pixel XL and I have liked the case a lot (far better than the phone). Does anyone know if magnetic fasteners on such cases interfere with the Spen? There was discussion of that with the Note 7 but I don't remember the conclusion and most of what I read at the time was speculation not official fact.

I can only answer for the Obliq brand I had with a kickstand that had the magnet. They did interfere with the N5, but they changed something for the N7 (and N5 too if I remember correctly) and they were good to go, no interference. The wallet type with the magnet never gave me any trouble.
