I lined up the bottom of my note 5 to the inside bottom of the case for note 8 so you will get a better idea of how less wide the note 8 is and how much taller the note 8 is. Got another case coming monday.

Apparently the App only allows one photo, so here's another one with the clear Note 5 on top. Hopefully the Note 8 won't do the black line when I crop photos so they don't turn in posts like this.

I so thought that was a poetic case lol. Yeah I did same thing with my case for note 8. Got a blue and black case coming Monday. That one you got for the note 8, I have a similar one for my note 5 but it's purple and blue with the little diamonds and it's hard to get on and off so I barely use it.

Jewels, did you try to sneak the Note 5 "width" into the Note 8 case to see if it actually gets in there? It looks close with a ruler! If that's the case, I wouldn't be so disappointed with the Note 8 because the Note 5 is taller and wider than my S7 Active!

Lol yeah I just did. Note 5 went in there but wasn't good for the buttons cause it turned my phone off and gave me a black screen with all these options on it. Like to clear phone cache or whatever. So little tight on note 5. Kind of stretches a little.

Mine came today. Now as long as I haven't put the cart before the horse..... Lol.... it's just a starter case anyway. now to find a screen protector! they'll probably have those in the store as soon as the phone comes out but I'm hoping if we pre-order on the 24th will get it before the 15th of September!

Well, thanks! I hadn't liked for several days and I just did a quick search on Amazon I am looking specifically for a case that holds credit cards and I couldn't find it a week ago when I was looking so thank you I'll check them out!

This is a S8+ inside of a Note7 case... I think this is what you were asking for? Not much difference.... I think I'll be happy, as long as it's not smaller!

Does it fit snug side to side? Or is the s8+smaller?
