Android Central Question

I bought what was originally listed as a Moto Z3 Play XT1429-4 on ebay for use on Republic Wireless network.

Unfortunately, the seller made a mistake and is sending me a XT1429-3, which as far as I can tell is mostly the same phone, but for Sprint. Specs indicate CDMA support, which is what Republic Wireless requires.

Will the XT1429-3 work on Republic Wireless, or am I going to have to return it?

Republic Wireless uses Sprint as the carrier, so a Sprint phone, even one SIM-locked to Sprint, should work.
