Digital clock widget issue.

The stock digital clock on the Verizon galaxy s5 doesn't show the full date. I haven't been able to remedy this. I've searched through all the settings, specifically the date format settings, but none of them affect the widget on the home screen. Any suggestions? I've also considered downloading a clock widget app, but would rather stick with stock if possible. Thanks.

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried changing the system font size?

If you're looking for a good clock widget, my favorite is DIGI Clock Widget, which allows you to use any font that you've downloaded.

I have changed the font to "tiny" and it does not affect the widget font size.
