Dim screen in direct sunlight

My s7 edge seems to not be so great in direct sunlight. Didn't have an issue with note 5 or s6 edge. It's also not as easy to see as iPhone 6s +. Mine is the att variant. Anyone else?

Do you have it on auto brightness on the maximum setting?

It's on max--tested it with auto and manual.

Mine does that too sometimes. att too
