Direct dial....

I'm using Nova Launcher and there is a shortcut you can add to your homescreen called Direct Dial but once I add it and then choose the contact I want. I click on the shortcut and it says "app isn't installed". Can someone tell me what app I'm needing for this to work??

have you maybe disabled stock dialer to use a 3rdtparty one?

Works fine on mine? I am not sure if that is a Nova feature, it looks more like a Touchwiz feature?


Edit: Did you disable anything on your phone?

No I didn't disable anything that I know of.

I deleted the shortcut reinstalled it and it still says the same thing.

Power phone off, then take the battery out, then put it back in and try again.

BTW, did you clear all your screens of widgets before installing Nova?

If this ^ doesn't work, maybe you could try uninstalling and reinstalling Nova.

I reinstalled Nova and now it works....yay!!! :thumbup:

Possible solution..!
I had the same problem & after a lot of head-scratchin' & tinkerin', it occured to me-
Go to Settings>Developer Options & see if the option "Do Not Keep Activities" is checked. If it is, uncheck it.
You're good to go..!

as it was working fine few mins back,restarting phone solved my problem.
