DirecTV app for streaming?

I have the DirecTV Android app on my phone (HTC Rezound, with Android 4.0.3) and on my tablet (Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, with Android 4.0.4).On my phone, I can stream movies just fine. On my tablet, if I choose the same movie and tap Watch Movie, it pauses for a second or two then says DirecTV has stopped and kicks me back to the previous screen in the DirecTV app. But, I can tap Play Trailer, and that works. And I can use the HBO Go app, sign in with my DirecTV credentials, and stream movies from there and it works, too.?

Anybody else using the DirecTV app? Successfully streaming any movies? Any idea why mine isn't working??

I'd also be curious if it works any differently for folks running CM10 on their GN10.

I have the app and the same thing happened to me. I tried immediately after reading your post. I will be calling Direct and getting a refund. They need to fix the app.

I just sent a note to Directv about their app which doesn't fully support Android tablets.

Refund? Nobody told me using the app cost anything... I don't do mobile viewing near enough to be worth paying anything ATM. Guess I gotta call them myself.

I got a refund for the movie that I ordered that I was unable to watch using the app.

Yeah, there's a lot of for-fee movies available through the app, but there's a lot of free stuff, too.
