This is one variation that I have seen advertised on TikTok. There are a couple of others. They even seem to use the Samsung nomenclature of 24, but often c24 or 24x. On another one, the 512gb model was well under $200, 6.8 screen, 12 ram, big battery.

To the extent they reveal them, the specs seem pretty good. It looks like a Chinese knockoff. I don't really need a new phone and I would be hesitant to get this, but I'm kind of curious if anyone has ever checked them out.

Never never never never never never never NEVER fall for these. These manufacturers always lie about specs and can program the system to report these lies. Reliable system info apps typically reveal the lies, showing that the devices have crappy SoCs (usually low end Mediatek), and 2 GB RAM/16 GB ROM (or worse) . Comically, the apparent multiple cameras on the rear are always fake except for the one real one that's maybe 8 MP. To say nothing about what kind of junk apps they're running.

One thing that I always find to be a huge red flag with these devices that SMOOREZ reviews is the fact that upon initial boot, it goes straight to the homescreen -- no account setup at all. This suggests that it's already been set up in the factory with who knows what account, and therefore who knows what kind of data is being sent to that account owner. The average user would not know to immediately do a factory reset, but even then, I'd still be worried about putting my real Google account on any of these devices.
