I got my moto 360 on sunday and yesterday in work (under good lighting) I noticed a lot of dirt or "gunk" in the 2 - 8 position between the glass and metal casing, this also seems to be the only place with a gap big enough to get gunk in it. Is my watch defected? Has the glass moved?

That is the only place I can put a post-it note between the glass and metal casing also. Attached is a pic for reference.

I noticed something similar yesterday when using a napkin to clean the screen. The lint was getting in the small gap. Probably can just use a q-tip to clean it out if you see build up.

I have been able to clean it out with said post-it note but it comes back as quick as I clean it out. :-\

In case anyone cares, I contacted motorola, they asked for pics and I'm now just waiting for a reply.

The reply:

Hi again.

The 360 team conferred on this - thanks for sending the photos. The small gap you've identified is well within our specifications, and it's not something we can perfectly control. It does not compromise the IP67 rating -- your Moto 360 is fine.

Regards,

I noticed that as well. I had a screen protector that was getting stuff under it through the gap so i ended up taking the screen protector off and just blowing compressed air to clean things out every now and then.

Unfortunately compressed air doesn't shift the dirt in mine so I've resorted to scraping it out with a post-it note, disappointing.
