disable adobe flash content

is there a way to disable adobe flash for when you want a faster experience when surfing the web?
if so, how is this done...?

With the browser open, touch the button on the bottom of the phone with the 3 horizontal lines > more > settings. Toward the bottom of this menu there is a plugins option. Click that and select disable or on demand.
