For those that don't know Disable HW Overlays is an option in Android Developer options. It basically forces all installed streaming apps to use the GPU to render images on the TV instead of the CPU.
I have Xioami. Enabling the above option makes them considerably better but it unfortunately doesn't stay in.
It would be great if I could stumble across a way to disable HW overlays, even after any reboot.
For those able to know, let me know the steps.
