Disable notification when connection to phone is dropped

Hi all,

Is there a way to disable the vibration notification on the gear 3 when when my phone is out of reach. I don't want to have it vibrating every time I'm at the gym and walk away from my phone when I leave it in my locker.

Have you tried the following?

From the Apps screen, tap Settings.
Tap Connections
Scroll to "Alerts" and click to turn off Bluetooth disconnection alerts.

No such setting I can find on unlocked N8 either.

I believe they are talking about doing this on your watch. That's what I did.
