Disabling floating call timer while multitasking during call

I've been using the LG G4 for a most a month now and I love it! There is an annoyance however and I can't seem to turn this feature off...

During a call, when you place the call in the background to use other apps, there is a green bubble showing the call timer that is always in the foregroud. The bubble can be moved around on the screen, but I cannot figure out how to entirely disable it. Is there a way to disable this feature entirely?

I saw there was a thread for the LG G3 with regards to this, and the solution for that phone is to use tweakbox, but there isn't a version of that app for the G4 yet. Any other ideas?

I haven't figured out a way to disable it yet, definitely frustrating
