Hi,
On earlier android versions, I somehow was able to disable the annoying notification that displays when connected to Wi-Fi
It shows as: (wifi icon) Android System Wi-Fi Connected connected to "X".

Call it OCD or whatever, everytime I swipe the notification down I remove it. However, searching into settings I didn't see this option to turn off. It is very frustrating. Anyone got over this?

Thanks.

What device are you using?

Who is your carrier?

I have used Google Nexus/Pixel devices (with "pure" Android) for several years now and have never encountered a Wi-Fi connection notification. My current Pixel XL (Android 7.1.2) switches between at least four different Wi-Fi networks constantly throughout my day without a single notification.

I suspect you are encountering notifications that are specific to your carrier's or device's Android customizations.

Hi, apologies for not specifying device.

I am using Galaxy S7 Edge (SM-G935F) International Version.
Android version: 7.0
