I've been using the Pro mode when shooting indoors of people and keeping all the settings on auto. It seems the smoothing process is not as agressive than Photo mode. You just can't use the wide angle or tele lens in Pro mode. I don't use them much when taking pictures indoors of people anyway.

The regular photo mode is auto and has the options for the telephoto lens. In Pro mode of you don't manually adjust the settings it'll auto adjust for you by default but you won't have access to wide and tele lenses.

Bro for real? Come on.. smoothing images is a Samsung look that they like. It's not going away. It sucks.

I've complained about this over and over. Samsung isn't listening.

I only have option for 12mp ultra wide angle when I press the 3 tree icon. I don't see an icon for the 48mp telephoto.

Interesting....I had not given it that much though and assumed it just used default settings.

Well, I've noticed in indoor or lower light areas there's some level of auto adjustment the pro mode does. But once you're outside in bright light then you'll need to manually adjust.
