can these files be erased off the sd card i know they are temp files just don't want to take a chance

on the subject I have a ton of random folders on my SD card i have no clue what they r. how about this one burstyImageCache whats that one.

I've never seen anything mentioned about either of these folders here or at XDA, so they must not be a problem. Remember, the Android OS is designed to be very good at multitasking and using things only when they are needed. So my guess would be that having these folders on our phones is not hurting the operation of the phone. So unless you are a developer who knows what they are, probably best to leave them where they are. They may have been created by some other program or app, do nothing but sit there until that program or app needs them, and may actually be important to the functioning of that program or app.

wonder if that imagecache thing is where those bump pictures i was talking about r. but they dont show up as images when i view them like my DCIM folder. The bump thing is weird cause i have photos in there that no one should see and thats why they r off my camera but still there. So weird! Also LOST.Dir i dont know what that is.

another is youmicache have know clue neve downloaded an app for that folder to be put on my sd card.

I'm going to copy those tmp files onto my pc and delete them off my sd card to see what happens if somthing dosen't work then I'll know to what they belong to and put them back .
