Display always on?

I'm not sure what I did or how, but for some reason the display on my S3 does not power off unless I physically press the lock button on it's side. I've checked developer options and see no 'Always On' option there. I also have my display timeout at fifteen seconds of inactivity ( it's normally at thirty ) and no dice there.
 
Have you tried power cycling your phone (off/on)?

If that does not work, then a Factory Data Reset should work.

Also, this has happened to me when an app froze but didn't trigger a force close popup.. If you hold down the home button and select "Task manager", you'll see if anything is frozen and can kill that task...
 
Oh the irony....many of us are trying to figure out how to keep the screen "always on".

Glad you got it ironed out.
