Display bar-/QR-codes, boarding-cards etc?

Are there no options* for the S3 to display coupon codes, boarding passes etc on the watch?

*) ...other than using screenshots/pictures (if that is even possible, I have not looked into it because I would rather keep using my phone for displaying bar-/QR-codes if pictures is the only workaround)

There aren't any apps for the watch for that, so you would have to use pictures which would probably be unreliable at best.

Is app-development for this device "dead"? I accepted that it was a limited amount of apps available in the beginning when I got it (around release), but I kind of expected there would be more available by now... But I feel that it lacks many apps that I initially thought it would have, like a good navigation-app... Now it just feels like a device with potential, but limited usage besides standard features (watch, phone notifications and a wearable health-sensor)

I don't know about dead... But it does seem that development has been going on more for watchfaces than apps.
