Display Brightness

Just wondering what everyone keeps their brightness set to.

I keep it on adaptive. However, for some reason, it always seems a little too low on this phone compared to previous phones.

Yes on auto and adjust as well...Pixel phones usually are lower in brightness when on adaptive though this phones hands down has the best screen of any previous Pixel IMO ..

70 seems good to my eyes. I've never liked adaptive brightness.
My P6P I used to keep at 82 but I guess with the added display brightness of the 8 pro that was too high.

Every time I use adaptive, it drives me crazy . I'm constantly turning brightness higher.
How long do you have to use it to get to a good point with it?

Adaptive and adjust as needed, usually at night.

I keep mine on adaptive also ... but have noticed, like others, that this P8P seems to be a little darker than my last 2 Pixels were. Usually it doesn't bother me, but I will bump it up a bit in certain lighting.
I'm really enjoying my new phone & Watch 2!!

Yes the only frustrating thing is it learns from your viewing patterns! But I find that I still have to adjust in some scenarios that I've done previously anyway.. smh.. but at the end of the day I think it does a good enough job for my daily..

I use adapative and sometimes need to adjust it higher/lower.

Not using adaptive means I have to manually adjust it all the time, which is just more work.

I've given adaptive 2 weeks and it's just not for me.
I'm constantly adjusting to make it brighter. Many times per day.
I'm switching to manual to see how I like that.
I love my 8 pro. Definitely a significant improvement over 6 pro, which I liked a lot too.
