All,
Just received my new T-Mobile Note 7. Spent the past few hours configuring it. Noticed that the display scaling is gone. I remembered I set it to small during the initial set up. But,now I want to set it to large and see if I noticed any performance difference as I did with the old note 7.
It was in Settings, display, display scaling.
With the new update,I don't see it there anymore.

Any ideas?

It's gone for me to on my Note 7 after the update. It has since been replaced with "screen resolution." However you can get to content scaling setting if you are familiar with using the Nova Prime Launcher Activities shortcut.

Can you please elaborate on how to do it on Nova Prime? I use it too but can't figure out how.

Thanks!

Long presson the home screen to create a widget. Choose Activities under Nova (at the top). Then scroll to the Settings section and look for the Content Scaling option. It will add the shortcut to your home screen. I did this for other missing options such as toggling VoLTE. It comes in handy.

Thank you so much! I wonder why some carriers kept it and some removed that option? So weird?

I had a battery shortcut saved in my Nova backup settings and couldn't remember how I got that shortcut. Now, I know what I did before because of this thread. I forgot all about these settings.

I remember on my original T-Mobile Note 7 I couldn't find content scaling but when you open settings if you just click the search link in the top right and type in scaling it would show up as a result.

But doesn't that down scale the resolution? I want to keep the resolution 2k, but have more info on screen.

I have the T-Mobile replacement note 7 and my content is set on small because I chose the option when I first powered device (it will ask you doing the start up set up process)...so factory reset and go from there because you won't see the option in settings at all....and if you don't want to do this.....otherwise change screen grid by holding down on home screen (not as effective but at least gives more room for more icons)

It's still there. Just called screen resolution now.

That's not it. It's not the same as content scaling.

That doesn't work anymore since the update. It's completely removed in the settings from the T-Mobile Note 7s.

The OP could do this, but the easiest way is by using Nova and creating the shortcut.
