Display time-out resets

Evening all...I am having an annoying issue with my Droid. I can't seem to isolate what program is doing it, but I set my screen to time out after 2 minutes, but something keeps putting it back to the system default of like 30 seconds. So if I am reading and not inputting or touching the screen it goes off and locks the phone. If I go back in and reset back to 2 minutes, inevitably, it will get set back to the default of 30 seconds. Is there a log program so I can see what is making system changes or is anyone else familiar with this problem?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

First question to ask what apps do you have installed?

Try removing the dock blocker and the anti-virus and see if that fixes it. Since you really don't need anti-virus for your Android phone.




Did it JUST start doing this? Or has it done this since you owned the device?


It it JUST started doing it, did it do it after installing a program? Or after 2.1? or what?
