Display weather on pixel

If you are looking to have the local weather show up on the home screen, you need to swipe left to the Google now screen go into settings (the three bar top left corner) and enable weather on that screen. Soon after it will change the date on the home screen to weather

Only request I wish they would do is put the city name below the weather, not the date again since that's on the clock area

And you apparently cannot remove the widget either. I got my XL on July 19 and only used it a few hours before putting Nova Launcher back on it with the Weather Network (in Canada) app and widget on the home screen. I find Google's weather usually off by a few degrees. Odd...

Same here. I would like to use the digital clock widget with the date. But since the date is already there, it would look kinda dumb with it listed twice right next to each other

Agreed. Wonder if this gets fixed in O update?

I took my date and time off the status bar. Makes the home screen a bit more functional imo

I see you can remove the time with system tuner. But, I don't see anyway to remove the date from the weather widget.

(Date and time off status bar)

Settings>system>system ui tuner>status bar>uncheck battery and time
