I'm having some issues with my new note 3, and i have a feeling it may have something to do with the bloatware sprint forces down our throats with the note 3. they install apps and prevent them from being deleted. that is such bs. i'm guessing sprint gets some kickbacks from the app makers to do this. F**K sprint.

What apps are you referring to? I actually feel the opposite and feel the bloatware could have been a lot worse. And we are allowed to disable apps which is even a bigger plus.

You can delete bacon reader thing, that what's up messenger app and a few others including some sprint branded apps.

I have disabled blurb checkout, drop box, google play games, Google +, Lumen Toolbar, Polaris Office, Trip Advisor yahoo finance without glitches.

I disabled the flip magazine crap from the home button/flip up motion and S voice as well.

There will always be bloatware and most of it lately is across all carriers. Imo, bloatware that would be the most annoying is forcing us to have sprint tv, nascar, nfl mobile, telenav, etc. But you choose.

If you can shed some light into what exactly you're taking about, it most likely can be fixed or work around. I'm not the #1 cheer leader for Sprint, but bashing like this isn't gonna get you anywhere. Hope things get better for you...

Palm Treo line > BlackBerry line > Samsung Galaxy S line > NOW the awesome & powerful Samsung Galaxy Note 3! 😆📱😆

There will always be bloat on all carriers. Just like you can get rid of it by disabling it or rooting. I rooted and froze a few things so I no longer have to worry about them.

Why does a company throw advertisements in your face for you to give them money?

Really? Does this need answered? Lol.

You should be able to freeze or turn off the app via system settings - applications.

Keep in mind that the majority of Sprint users may be using these features and prefer to get these offers, which is one reason why these services are pre-installed on the devices.

Actually if you've had Sprint for a while like me you'd notice that Sprint has really cleaned up the bloat. It was so much worse before

I've noticed the same. They tend to be on the lighter side compared to some carriers.

Nice thing with newer versions of Android is most apps can now be disabled without having to root.

Agreed they are pretty decent about not bloating it like mad. I just think the OP wants a bloat less phone... Only way to do that is to root and ROM or buy a nexus :).
