Ditching my iPhone 5 for Nexus 5

Battery life is better for me on the N5. Not drastically different, but significant enough to notice. Actually, the degrading battery on my iPhone 5 is big reason why I'm using the N5 right now.

Hi

for those who switched from iPhone to Nexus 5, what do you use to replace "notes" ?
On the iPhone, i was using "notes" to save anything from important info, bank details, things to do...
What to use on Nexus 5 please?

Thanks

I switched from a Nexus 4 to an iPhone5 to the N5 all this year.
I couldnt make it through one day with the N4, iPhone5, or the N5.
The iPhone did charge ALOT faster than the Nexus phones do, in my experience...

So nothing really changes for me other than the fact I feel like I have the superior phone with the N5.

I use the stock app Google Keep for notes.

if sync is turned on then you can see them at keep.google.com when you are logged in. Itll bring you to your Google drive/Keep account... I dont know how to get there without typing it in though....

Try installing Snap Dragon Battery Guru. It takes a few days to learn about your use patterns before it does anything but then it does a pretty good job of optimization. My battery was only down 20% at the end of the day yesterday which was significantly better than I was seeing before Battery Guru started to do it's thing.

Im using inkpad and also downloaded applocker which is nice to lock up the notes. I used to have to take a screen shot of the notes then move them to a vault. Now I can just make the note and its locked. Inkpad seems closer to the iphones note app to me btw.

As far as battery life mine shows my screen display is using most of my battery . I have been using my phone quite a bit since its new and im new to android but it does seem to not last long and takes forever to charge. If it warns you your at 14 % you better get a charge on it. It will go quick after that.
