Is is possible to fix it???

Good find. But I get a "web page not found" error when I run it.

I can see it, maybe it's a regional thing?

Here's the description of that app, not sure it's something we want to encourage folks to install (not that he was)

This app will be of great utility when of wanting listen online music, download any track long as either with copyleft e even share in totally free social networks, besides that require no log type, since only must of performing a search of the song or artist who you want and ready.

Once you've found the song you want, you can listen online to analyze which is the one looking for and then download if you like. This app is a buscador e organizer information found publishes in internet and that simply links, and not host any kind of multimedia files.

The app does not host mp3 files only looking music videos on youtube and nays converter video to mp3

Just like you, I'm still not seeing any other reference to DMG on Android except for this thread and the AFT app for macOS.

Re: Unfortunately, DMG has stopped.

It would be helpful in all cases if we knew what phone and region.

Some phones are bad, and furthermore come with bad bloatware. This is more the case in some regions than in others.

I’ve played with bad phones, and had those “X has stopped” messages on them. I’ve never had that on good phones.

Yep, it sounds like one of those shifty "free music downloaders" that people think allows them to get paid music for free. If you read the fine print for these kinds of apps, they're technically meant for "research," and you're supposed to voluntarily delete any music track you download once you're finished "researching" -- otherwise, you're violating copyright law. These apps comb the web for filesharing sites that have the music you're looking for, which means (a) the music is likely pirated, and (b) it could also have some nice juicy malware in it.

Re: My phone (micromax q413) is showing UNFORTUNATELY, DMG HAS STOPPED i am not able to close it, an

DMG appears to be a music player that doesn't work. Find it in Settings/Apps, tap DMG and uninstall it.

It sounds like the devices impacted are ones many of us don't have any experience with or access to.

Has anyone tried the cache partition wipe I suggested above? I think one tried safe mode and still had the issue, pointing to a deeper system issue. The Google searches we're doing (most of us in the West) for DMG as it relates to Android are turning up nothing.

I got the error by running it from Play, immediately after installation, so there wouldn't be anything in its cache yet.

That would, since the app wouldn't be ruinning in Safe Mode - but then you couldn't try it to see if it worked either.

android dmg should turn up links to copying files from a Mac to an Android.

You mean when you try to open the app after installing it? If so, then maybe that's why some people are getting the error.
If it were a page unreachable from some parts of the world, that would explain it - but then explain how a particular page could be unreachable from only some parts of the world. The site is on multiple servers, but they're not synced properly?

i have the same problem and i dont even have that player

yeah I tried safe mode and it was still there, I also saw some people still had it after fac reset, this to me seems like a terrific virus or a system problem

We’re all still trying to understand this so that help can be offered. As yet there is no consensus about what it is.

Re: Unfortunately, DMG has stopped.

Yes. I was developing an app on android studio. That's when the phone got this malware. So please help someone anyone. Please good person have mercy on us.

I’ve checked other sites where this problem is being reported, and no-one seems to have found a diagnosis and cure so far. I think we need someone here to try reflashing the stock ROM for their device and to tell us whether that fixes it.

seems to me thats the only cure, im trying to backup data through usb to my pc and ill try to flash then

guys do you also have dualsim phones? op and i do others?
