I have been looking throughout the web for others with this issue and have not found any. So, here goes, I was demonstrating a DNA incased in an otterbox to a customer. In order to demonstrate the resilience of the DNA and otterbox, I dropped my phone from four feet on to carpet. I completely shattered my screen. Anyone heard of defects in the DNA screen

Not trying to be a jerk, but you can't blame breaking glass as a defect. It may be scratch resilient, but its not a diamond. It is still GLASS. Intentionally dropping your phone, otterbox or not, is a dim idea. Depending on where it struck, the glass could break from a 1ft drop, let alone holding your phone up to roughly your chin and intentionally dropping it. Rough luck, sounds like you might have lost your sale as well as having broke your phone.

I never trusted Otterbox for durability no matter how they say how good the protection is, I had learned to be extra careful when handling an expensive Touchscreen like the DNA. Doing drop tests is never a good idea and wreckless especially when you're trying to sell it to a customer, like I said, I never had or will trust Otterbox in the protection. Less scratches on screen and cosmetics, Yes. Preventing shattered screen, No!

Really? I refuse to belive this post. And if it is true, well..........
