all you have to do is go to Google Play Store and install AIDA64 app. It will instantly tell you what kind of sensors are used in the Note 5's front and rear cameras.... for all three of my Verizon Note 5 phones, all have Sony sensors for the rear camera. (on the front selfie camera, they are all Samsung sensors)
