Android Central Question

On my GS5 I have to manually move apps back to the sd card after updating those apps because during the update they are automatically moved back to internal memory.

It's time for me to upgrade my phone.

Is the above problem solved with the GS7 & if so how is it solved?

This is just how Android works. Google is very anti-SD, especially when it comes to apps. All phones will move them back to internal storage to update them.

It's generally not a good idea to have them on external storage anyway due to stability and performance issues that can pop up. Most modern flagship phones have enough storage to not worry about keeping apps on internal storage. The SD card is best for individual files like media and documents.

You mean "not a good idea to have them on external storage anyway", right?
