Do I get my micro-hdmi port fixed or move on to a new device?

I had a cheap adapter plugged into the micro-hdmi port (to an HDMI cable to my TV) of my Motorola droid RAZR max HD & was walking away from the TV & not knowing the amount of tension that I was placing on the adaptor, I bent the male insert of the adapter to almost a 90° angle. The adapter was of no use afterwards(obviously) & the micro-hdmi port isn't working properly now, I assume that I bent something. I have to wiggle it now to get anything to transfer to my TV with other, stronger micro-hdmi adapters/cables. Is there a repair/replacement option or do I need to count my loss as a lesson learned & seek a new device to connect my phone to my HD TV? *Without going the wireless Chromecast, etc route* Would like to stay "wired" or with cable due to data issues. Any feedback is greatly appreciated!! Thank you!!!

A tech may be able to repair it or replace it.. There are shops that sell electronic stuff....
