Hi there,

My GPS doesn't appear to work. Wondering if it's possible it's faulty or broken hardware? I've downloaded GPS Status & Toolbox, GPS Test and another app called GPS Status and none can find any satellites. Tried clearing cache's of Google Maps and entire phone, uninstalling/reinstalling various apps, removing case, and a few months ago did a factory reset of all apps and nothing has changed it. Running android 6.0.1

Please help??????!!!!!!! Is this faulty hardware or is there a software fix online somewhere?

Welcome to Android Central!

Did the issue start after you updated to 6.0.1?

Yes I believe so. I've been posting around and also got this answer from another guy:

Hi,
This is a known issue, when some types of devices are upgraded to marshmallow
Many other problems are reported here

And here.

Is it possible for you to contact
Device manufacturer and degrade OS
Then go with.

Wish there was a clear answer other than downgrading OS ??
