Do i have stagefright in mobile?h

Hello, I received MMS. I was cautious, I opened the SMS chat with that number,there was a video, it did not launch at all. I could click on it though
Did I get stagefright ? Have I been hacked? I factory reset the phone immediately.

If I was hacked, does factory reset erase it completely? What could the person get? Thanks

Go to playstore and type stage fright detector and you'll get a few apps that can scan your device... I never open mms from strange numbers and have my auto download disabled. Factory reset was an extreme measure I reckon. If you didn't open the file, it's unlikely that you would have the stagefright thing... I wouldn't be too concerned
