Do I have to change my MD5 to install the new radio?

Install a program on your PC called winMD5Sum... you don't need to find the MD5 of your current Radio... just go to Settings > About phone > Software information > and look around for "Baseband version"... it will give a number like 1.39.00.0627r which is what I'm currently running, it's the Official MR2 radio (or at least that is what most people call it).

Yea thats the current radio I have, the Official MR2. But in the the past when i changed radios I usually just put in the root of my SD card, HBOOT, Update and call it a day. Now I'm reading on all these forums with the new radio's you gotta change MD5 or something. Not to mention its 2 of them. Sounds complicated to what use to be an easy process.

You don't change the MD5 code... it validates you have an uncorrupted install file. It sounds like you are updating your's correctly. There are other Radio's out there like Chingy's radio... and there are other Radio files that are not zip file like RUU files, which I've never attempted to load since I already have a radio that works.
