Do I just need a new Digitizer or is there also another thing wrong to?

Hi guys

Who here knows their [language redacted by Mod] about Samsung S6 Galaxy repairing?

Dad gave me damaged Samsung S6 to try to repair and sell second hand

I want to be sure thought it is only the digitizer that is not working. He said he dropped it and the screen starting going all fuzzy and started getting worse. (clearly digitizer right)

But when I plug the phone it to charge, it keeps making the Samsung sound effect so it sounds like it is restarting

Could this be also because the motherboard is trying to reconnect to the screen constantly? Hence again the digitizer is causing all this?

The digitizer is the part of the screen that detects your touch, so it sounds like it's more than just the digitizer, since the screen itself is going fuzzy. It could be that the screen/digitizer combination is damaged, or perhaps one of the connections on the motherboard.

Regarding the phone making repeated bootup sounds, it could be that the Power button is damaged as well, and is stuck in a pressed state, thus causing the phone to constantly try to power on. If the battery is depleted, it won't have enough juice to maintain the boot process.

It sounds like the first thing to do is to take the phone apart and check the screen connections.
