I'm planning on flashing EB01 in odin to take completely back to stock, and was wondering if I need to undo the voodoo

you don't have to, as it usually over rights the memory section but its recommended that you do so before hand

Thanks man. I'll do that tomorrow when my other phone comes in. did you ever get yours unbricked

Are you going back to stock because you are getting a replacement? If you're sending your original back in, you'll need to go back to stock on either DI01 or DL09, as EB01 was never an official update

didn't someone else run into this problem and they softbricked their phone because they didn't convert the file system back to stock first?

I'd recommend converting back and undoing voodoo first before you do the odin flash.

Yea I flashed with Odin one night and didn't undo my voodoo and I lost internal memory

I had this scenario last week, with my nandroid disaster. When doing d101 thru odin no need disable voodoo. Apparently the d101 just wipes all voodoo stuff.

In the middle of the odin session, I thought @#$@ I didn't disable voodoo, but it booted up fine no probs except the torture of looking at a stock d101 homescreen with the rippling water lol

Those particular DI01 and EB01 Odin packages are full blown, return to stock, packages, so they will rewrite all partitions. Not absolutely necessary to disable voodoo, but still cant hurt

welp everyone was talking VooDoo and Non VooDoo so much i fiinaly decided to just go VooDoo. My signal here is not that great since Verizon lost a tower , that they did not replace, signal went down way down, even with all the updates still weak but under VooDoo i saw the 3g kick in..

well, i'm not sure if i mentions that i'm going to be sending this one back to verizon is why i ask. I have been having issues with my txt not sending at all, and my multimedia msges not working at all. I have to do a dev cache wipe before it actually will send my tx through half the time. and i called to see if it could be that they had and issue with their server, but they said phone, and my phone has been running fine before. it just started like last weekend. and i did try to do a fresh install of 2.9.2 both nonvoodoo and voodoo, themed and non-themed. :S
