Hi, welcome!

Depends how your using your phone , brightness at max always keeping screen on for GPS for hours can lead to those things , me personally on all my phones have not had that experience.
I have pretty much all Samsung Note and S series phone .

Mustang is right, it depends on usage. He hasn't had issues, but my wife has developed a lot of burn in on all of her flagship Samsung phones through the years.

Welcome to Android Central! This is why it's always a good idea to have your screen timeout set to a relatively short interval (like 30 seconds), so that it doesn't inadvertently remain on a static screen for minutes at a time while idle.
