Do most stores have plenty of Maxx in stock?

I really want a Maxx and considered ordering one but I already used my upgrade on the RAZR. I sure could use that extra battery life but at $700 after taxes just for an extra battery, I'm not sure about that. I could get about $300 for my RAZR, but still...

Not a perfect solution but can't you just order an extra battery or 2 for 20 on ebay. Did that for my last two phones....

The RAZR has a non-removable battery. I knew this when I purchased it and honestly, I can live with this battery. But on some days, I wish I had a bigger battery when I end up using the internet a lot. Oh well.

I was fine with the RAZR until Motorola unveiled the Maxx so no need to be all crazy.

on Best buy mobile fb they said that stores will start to carry the phone after they run out of the normal razr which could mean it might be awhile till your store carries it. Non in Duluth, MN either.

In Washington State, I called around to about 5 different stores and all said they same thing. No Maxx in stock for 500 miles. So, I just ordered online.

All stores local to me in MD are sold out and, unfortunately, trying to order from VZW online was a bust, their site just wont work, cant add the device to the cart. Going to talk to a real person to see if I can get it done - frustrating.

And it's still 'processing' when I check my order status. Is it normal for it to take this long??? Definitely thought I'd have the phone shipped and in my hands by now.

I would recommend calling in and checking on it. It shouldn't take that long. Orders usually ship same day or next depending on what time you called. Also orders come with two day shipping. I ordered my phones yesterday and should get them Friday. Call and see what's holding it up.

Ditto what Dragonsamus said. I ordered mine on-line yesterday (Tuesday) and got the order confirmation within minutes. A couple of hours later, I received shipping confirmation and a tracking number. My MAXX is currently in Newark, NJ and will be here in Maine tomorrow (Thursday).

Alright, guys.

Update. Called them right now.

Had the lady double check EVERYTHING. Payment was processed and went through just fine. There were no secret agreements that needed to be agreed to.

She mentioned that there might be some computer or system error with the warehouse that is holding the package from being released and shipped.

And saying something about manually having to force it through.

Hopefully this fixes this.... *sigh*
