Do not disturb feature in 6,0.1 NOT working

Although I've set and reset do not disturb to function from 22h to 9h and have always checked that it is on, even though I only allowed favorites to call and NO notifications except messenger ALL the notifications sound all night.

The only way is to totally silence all, that is use the DND feature to accept no calls or even alarms.

This of course is not good as if I need to use the alarm in the morning that disables it, and if my wife for instance needs to call me after 22h impossible.

Googled around and found 0 answers. Thanks for any suggestions.

btw have you tried custom exceptions in the built in DND in your phone ?

You bet! I even tweeked which apps were allowed to be displayed on the lock screen. When using the native app if set to exceptions and I only choose "favorites" for callers and even with all apps not allowed except messenger all my apps (CNN, NYT, etc.) will make their daily "ring" that I set up all night. Only workaround was to totally turn of all exceptions, and in this case in less I was staring at the phone all calls including my favorites and text messages missed. I googled enough to see that others have had even crashes in the DND app...
