Do not disturb is disturbing me

I use do not disturb at night. Since Oreo, when it comes back on, I get about 20 notification sounds in a row, waking me up. How do I stop this, it didn't do this before oreo.

Turn it off in settings->sound and vibration

Set the ''turn off" time for "Do Not Disturb" for a time when you are awake.

That's right - it has nothing to do with Oreo! If the Notifications are there, waiting for you, when "Do Not Disturb" turns Off, the Notifications WILL Alert you - all of them! As Andytiedye said, if you don't want to be woken up, change the "turn off time" to a later time!

It is related to Oreo in that the alert sounds that were blocked by "do not disturb" all play when the first alert happens after it ends. It used to discard them.
