Android Central Question

On my S20 5G, Android 13, when "do not disturb" is off and someone calls, the phone wakes and shows the name of the caller (if in contacts) or at least the number calling.

However, when I turn "do not disturb" on and allow my contacts as an exception, when a contact calls, the phone rings, but the screen remains black and I don't know which of my contacts is calling. Is this not a bug?

Sounds like a bug , you on Android 12 correct 13 not out yet .
Try this in safe mode same thing happens

can't see who's calling with "do not disturb" turned on

I keep "do not disturb" on and use the exception list to allow my contacts thru. The problem is, when any of my contacts call, NO caller ID displays on the phone (like when do not disturb is turned off). Why is this, and how can I fix it? Is there a way to open the calling app and see the caller ID before I actually answer?

That's me above. I originally posted anonymously. Just want to add, I have an S20 5G w/Android 12 & One UI 4.0.

Sorry, I meant to say I had Android 11 above not 13, but now that I'm on 12, the same problem exists.
