"Do not Disturb" still showing Visual Notifications

I have a Galaxy Note 8 with Oreo installed but at the middle of the night even with Do Not Disturb activated, the screen will still come on and wake me up. The sound is muted appropriately but the screen and LED still come on and blink when Do Not Disturb is activated.

I usually have the phone on a fast charger at night. Not sure if that is causing the problem

Any ideas on how to fix this

Have you went into Settings -> Sounds and Vibration ->Do not disturb and enabled the option "Hide visual notification"?
