do not disturb

I turned do not disturb on first time today and tested it by calling mysel from my work phone, isnt it supposed to not let calls through?

Indeed. It should only let calls from numbers you nominate.... Have a look in (dnd ) settings

In addition to Tim 1954-Reply : We know the "Do Not Disturb" feature Mutes
all calls & alerts unless you set them as exceptions, you can Set -Do not disturb-
To turn on|off automatically at scheduled times >>Review its options when
you open this setting to Set it at your choice - Bye!
