Do the headphones have an inline mic and buttons?

Hi all

I've preordered a Z2 as a replacement for my S4 and one of the stand out features for me is the noise cancelling headphones. I haven't been able to find out though if they include an inline mic and buttons like most phone headphones or not? Does anyone know yet?

Thanks!

Well...I feel like I'm going ten different ways on these forums in the last day but this is my assumption..

I just opened my Taiwanese ordered Z2 (see my post) and they came with model number MDR-NC31E. They are noise canceling headphones. When I google that model number it only returns Taiwanese websites. When you look at the model number of the included headphones with all the preorders around the UK it is model number MDR-NC31EM....I assume now that the M denotes "MIC". I think that's a relatively safe assumption.

Nope...fortunately for me it doesn't matter, I never use it. I guess the Taiwanese don't either.

Thanks. Interesting that the UK headphones have a different model number. There doesn't seem to be much info on them on any websites.

AFAIK the noise cancelling headphones have mics on them in order to fetch the noise around. So I wonder if they're used for calls too, or is it possible to use that way...

Just wanted to update this, just tested, the microphones on the ear do work as mics on calls

I'm listening to music on my z2 now with the headphones. I can confirm that it appears there is no mic. There are no controls at all on the headphones. Have to use the phone unfortunately.
