Do the notifications appear on the edges of a note 7?

Since the note 8 doesnt show notifications on the edges is that the same on the note 7?

But if this truly is the original Note 7 (the one with the fire risk from the battery) and not the safer Note 7 "Fan Edition," I would strongly suggest you trade your phone for one that isn't an explosion/fire hazard. I don't mean to nag or preach, but it is a serious risk with potentially serious consequences.
